The light is 45.7 cm wide, so it suits frames of roughly 70–90 cm; a picture light should usually cover half to two thirds of the frame width. It projects 22.9 cm to light the canvas evenly.
What bulbs does the Hessen 18" Picture Light use?
Two E27 bulbs, T10 tubular shape, LED up to 8 W each. The sockets are keyless, so it is switched from the wall. LED bulbs are recommended for artwork as they give off little heat.
What should my electrician know before installing the Hessen 18" Picture Light?

Which finish is available for the Hessen 18" Picture Light, and who designed it?
It comes in Natural Brass, a warm finish that suits gilded and wood frames as well as classic oil paintings. The design is by Ralph Lauren for the Visual Comfort Signature Collection.
