VC Gallery is an authorized dealer of Vimercati, the classic Italian furniture maker founded in 1920 in Meda, near Milan. Every Vimercati piece is made to order, so delivery is calculated in your quote and the lead time is confirmed with it. Vimercati pieces can be seen at our Milan showroom on Via Filippo Turati 3.

How to order Vimercati

Send us the model names and your delivery address. We prepare a quote with the delivery cost and confirm the lead time. Production starts once the order is confirmed. When your pieces are ready, we hand them to the carrier and you receive a tracking link.

How much does Vimercati delivery cost?

Furniture is made to order and every order is different, so there is no fixed rate. Delivery is calculated individually and included in your quote, based on the size and weight of the pieces and the delivery address. The exact amount is confirmed before you pay.

How long does it take?

The lead time is confirmed in your quote. For most Vimercati pieces it is currently 10 weeks from order confirmation. Custom fabrics, finishes or sizes can take longer; we confirm the timing in the quote.

VAT and import duties

Private buyer in the EU. The displayed price includes VAT.
Business buyer in another EU country with a valid EU VAT number. The order is invoiced without Italian VAT under the reverse-charge rule. Send us your VAT number before you confirm the order.
Non-EU Europe. In Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Andorra, Vatican City, Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo, local VAT, any import duty and the carrier's fee are paid on delivery.

Fabrics, finishes and sizes

Vimercati makes furniture to measure, so many pieces can be adapted: the wood finish, carved and gilded details, inlays, upholstery and, within the limits of each design, the dimensions. Send us the model name and your requirements, and we confirm with Vimercati what can be produced and how it affects the lead time.

What to do on delivery day

Vimercati pieces combine carved wood, inlays, gilded details and upholstery, so check the shipment when it arrives.

Photograph the packaging from all sides before opening.
If the packaging shows visible damage, open it in the presence of the driver.
Check every wood surface, carving, inlay, gilded edge and upholstered section for dents, scratches, chips or lifted parts.
If you find damage, do not sign the delivery note as accepted in good condition: sign it with a reservation and describe the problem on the note.
Report any damage to VC Gallery with photos within 48 hours of delivery.
